COVID-19 UPDATES
Even in this time of uncertainty, City Chiropractic and Wellness is a place for hope and healing — and we’re continuing to deliver the care you need.
We welcome both new and existing patients for virtual and in-person care in adherence with federal, state, and New York City executive orders and guidance.
What You Can Expect From Us
Our highest priority is to ensure the best health and safety measures for every one of our patients and team members. We also want to ensure that there are no unnecessary delays with addressing your chiropractic and physical therapy health issues.
We’ve taken many steps so you can feel safe, relaxed, and confident during your visits.
Remote Check In & Pre-Check
New patients can now remotely check-in for appointments outside of our office. Pre-Check allows completion of most paperwork prior to arrival, expedited service, and less time in the waiting room.
Enhanced Cleaning & Disinfecting
Our office has always been clean, but we have now taken additional measures to further clean each individual site. We disinfect highly-touched surfaces throughout the day with EPA-approved disinfectants that are considered effective against coronavirus.
Additionally, we have added extra time in between each exam to allow for additional social distancing and cleansing. The facility will be deep cleaned and sanitized every day. Providers will thoroughly disinfect all tables and equipment in between use.
Knowledgeable & Prepared Staff
All staff will wear appropriate PPE including mask, gloves, and gowns.
Our staff has been trained extensively on infection prevention protocols, which includes comprehensive patient screening and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) when providing patient care.
Increased Safety Measures
We have equipped all registration desks with protective shielding and have implemented mandatory temperature and digital oximeter checks for all staff. Patients’ temperature will be checked at our outdoor kiosk using a contactless thermometer.
Continuous Monitoring
Our leadership team will meet multiple times per day to ensure our safety protocols meet, or exceed, all currently accepted local and national guidelines.
Symptomatic Patients
If you’re experiencing symptoms of infection, we kindly ask that you do not come into the office, but reschedule your appointment once you are symptom-free.
Face Masks
We’re asking everyone to please wear a face covering to protect themselves and others. Examples include: surgical mask, cloth mask, bandanna, scarf, neck gaiter, or clothing without holes. Patients are asked to wear a mask in the facility, and to wash hands upon arrival. If you do not have a mask we will be happy to provide one for you.
Social Distancing
To keep all patients and our staff safe, we’ve adhered to social distancing by spacing our waiting room chairs at least 6 feet apart from one another, to maintain a safe distance from fellow patients.
Limit Patient & Staff Exposure
To minimize overcrowding, if you have someone accompany you who is not necessary to your care, we ask that they wait somewhere outside of our reception room.
Sanitation
Please practice the appropriate hand-washing techniques and utilize sanitizers that contains at least 60% alcohol, directly before and immediately after your appointment. We will have hand sanitizing stations setup for your convenience.
What We ASK OF YOU
In addition to the extra steps we’ve taken to ensure the best health and safety measures for every one of our patients and team members, we ask that you follow the guidelines below when you come in for your visit.
